শুধুই তোমার জন্য- লক্ষ কোটি বছর ধরে-
অনন্ত কষ্টের প্রতিযোগিতায় পারি টিকতে।
বিষণ্ণ শূন্যতায় স্তব্ধ, তবুও রক্ত-কণিকা জুড়ে
এক নাম-ভালোবাসা প্রবাহিত, তুমি অস্তিত্বে।

দুনিয়াময় যতো সুন্দর- সুখ তোমাতে'ই ভাবী-
আমার আনন্দ বিশ্বাস মসজিদ মন্দির গির্জা।

কতভাবে কতদিন করেছি ভালোবাসার মিনতি,
বোঝতে চাওনি হৃদয় চিরে বেরিয়ে আসা সেকথা!
বেঁচেই তো আছি! তুমিহীনা মরুময় মনের ভূমি
